PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Seung Woo Lee (ranked 4126 p4p, 3830 weight class) and Nobuhito Inoue (ranked 0 p4p, 439 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nobuhito Inoue!

Lee stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lee wants it to stay on the feet.

Inoue has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Lee has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Inoue throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lee was covering up waiting for the punch and Inoue finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Lee wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Inoue manages to pass to side control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Inoue is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Inoue in particular looking to stall.

That was a close second round but I would say that Seung Woo Lee will probably get the nod.

Nobuhito Inoue comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Inoue has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
