Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Roko Delac (ranked 5346 p4p, 4882 weight class) and Alexander Alves (ranked 531 p4p, 509 weight class). Delac comes to the ring accompanied by Dalmacijo. Alves has chosen Foo Fighters - Best Of You as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alexander Alves!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paul Aken and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves misses with a body kick.
Alves throws a head kick that misses.
Delac jabs Alves right on the nose. Alves blinks but takes it well.
Good exchange - Delac coming out on top.
Delac changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Delac ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Alves tries to clinch but Delac moves away
and Delac makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Delac jabs at Alves's body.
Delac lands an overhand right.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Nice body punch from Delac - that landed with a thud.

Alves looks winded!
Delac is pushing Alves up against the ropes, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Delac lands an elbow just above Alves 's eye.
Alves goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Alves lands a nice shot to the body.
Alves throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Delac blocks it with crossed arms.
Alves tries to work over Delac's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Delac lands a knee to the body.
Delac with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Alves takes an elbow to the forehead.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Delac manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Delac gets through Alves's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Delac lands a nice shot to the body.
Delac taking a break, stalling in the clinch.

Delac is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Alves has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Delac seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Alves can turn it around.
Delac has Alves pressed against the ropes, preventing Alves from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Delac manages to break the clinch.
Delac drops a shoulder and throws a biiiig uppercut that drops Alves onto his butt! Alves pops straight back to his feet to convince the referee that he's OK to continue.
Alves is rocked!
Alexander Alves seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Alves is still on wobbly legs! Can Delac finish him?
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Alves seems to have recovered his senses.
Delac closes the distance and catches Alves with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Alves is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Alves is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Alves is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Delac takes it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Roko Delac!
After the fight, Roko Delac was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
