Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mizygati Hikohoma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randyl Tarly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hikohoma is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Mizygati Hikohoma had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tarly shoots in for a takedown but Hikohoma shows good takedown defense.
Hikohoma is breathing heavily.
Hikohoma attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Tarly changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hikohoma tries to avoid it but Tarly manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hikohoma to the ground. Hikohoma escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Tarly rushes Hikohoma and presses him up against the cage.

Tarly successfully pulls guard.

Tarly is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Tarly drags the fight down to the ground.
Hikohoma throwing strikes but missing.
Tarly is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Tarly throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Hikohoma wants to control from the top but Tarly keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tarly manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Hikohoma is trying to escape the mount.

Tarly has control of Hikohoma's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Hikohoma regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Tarly working for a guillotine from mount but Hikohoma is in no mood to give up.

Tarly throwing strikes here but Hikohoma is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Tarly is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Hikohoma can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Hikohoma wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Tarly.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Tarly throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Tarly has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Tarly throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Hikohoma has his hands clasped together but Tarly breaks the hold and Hikohoma is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Tarly!
