Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Mack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Muf Tripod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Muf Tripod will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mack fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mack looks to score with a jab to the body but Tripod is just out of range.
A punch combination from Tripod misses.

Tripod drives through with a takedown into guard.

Tripod stands up from Mack's guard - Tripod perhaps looking for a knockout.
Tripod catches Mack with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Tripod lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

and Tripod counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Tripod seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mack does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Tripod drops back looking for a leg! Mack is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mack manages to kick Tripod off! Tripod jumps back into Mack's guard.

Tripod is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Mack as he works his way to full guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Tripod drops back, looking for a kneebar! Mack looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Mack looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Mack!
Tripod tries to buck Mack off but Mack is having none of it.
Tripod is trying to control Mack's posture but Mack avoids it.

Mack is trying to get an arm triangle but Tripod is defending well.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Tripod rolls, trying to escape but Mack keeps control of the position.
Tripod grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.
Mack is trying to stick to Tripod's back but Tripod is turning into Mack. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Mack's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Tripod.
Mack is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Mack controls Tripod momentarily but Tripod frees himself.

Tripod has gone for a leg lock! Mack slips out almost immediately though and dives into Tripod's guard.

Muf Tripod dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Mack rushes Tripod and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Tripod tries to pull guard but Mack won't allow it.
Tripod is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Mack pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Tripod has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Mack regains guard immediately.

Mack working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tripod doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tripod manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Mack shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Tripod gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Tripod closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Tripod lands in his opponent's guard.

Tripod drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tripod jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Tripod pushes down on Mack's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Tripod is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Mack!
Mack is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Tripod takes Mack's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Mack is in trouble.

Muf Tripod showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Mack swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Tripod closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Tripod is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mack is trying to control but can't.
Mack is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Well, if Tripod is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Mack throws a hook to the side of Tripod's head but Tripod sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Tripod bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Mack's head backwards.
Tripod misses with a takedown attempt - Mack sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Tripod throws his legs up looking for a submission but Mack uses it to pass to side control.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Mack throws a hook to the side of Tripod's head but Tripod sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Mack is trying to control the position but Tripod postures up.

I would just about give that final round to Muf Tripod.
