Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hulk Butane (ranked 3865 p4p, 2372 weight class) and Scott Minerva (ranked 419 p4p, 270 weight class). Butane's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Genesis. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minerva throws a body shot but no joy.
Butane tries to bum rush Minerva with a series of wild strikes but Minerva uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Minerva changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Minerva tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Minerva has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Minerva goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Butane has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Minerva but great work by Butane.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Butane is keen to just control but Minerva is a slippery customer.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Butane here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
