Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Panda Aorigele (ranked 101 p4p, 299 weight class) and Kusal Perera (ranked 16 p4p, 43 weight class). Aorigele comes to the cage accompanied by Mama Said Knock You Out. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Aorigele cracks Perera with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Perera looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Aorigele finish him?
It looks like Kusal Perera has been cut.

Perera ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Aorigele moves away.

and Aorigele counters with a crisp right hand that drops Perera! Aorigele lets Perera back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Aorigele has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Aorigele there as he acknowledges the shot.

and Perera counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Perera throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

enabling Perera to counter with a crisp jab.

Perera throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Aorigele stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Perera counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Aorigele digs a good body shot into Perera's ribs.

and Aorigele takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Perera wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Perera connects with a crisp jab.
Aorigele is rocked!
Perera flashes Aorigele a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Aorigele's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Aorigele crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Perera punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kusal Perera!
A relieved looking Kusal Perera thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
