Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roy Roach (ranked 1355 p4p, 2259 weight class) and Daniel Hazlehurst (ranked 182 p4p, 300 weight class). Roach's entrance music is Jump Around, House of Pain. A fine choice. Hazlehurst is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Queen - One Vision. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roach uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hazlehurst.
Hazlehurst takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Roach darts in and clinches Hazlehurst up against the cage.
Hazlehurst takes an elbow to the forehead.
Hazlehurst avoids a wild elbow strike from Roach.
Roach lands with a right to the head.
Roach lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Roach misses with a punch to the body.
Nice body punch from Roach.
A bit of stalling here from Roach.
Roach misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Roach lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Roach lands a damaging elbow.

It looks like Daniel Hazlehurst has been cut.
Roach is pressed up against the cage. Hazlehurst has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Roach down to the mat. Roach avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Hazlehurst misses with a few strikes there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Roach clinches up with Hazlehurst and pushes him back against the cage.
Hazlehurst is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Roach slowing the pace effectively.
Roach tries to throw a body punch but Hazlehurst avoids it by throwing Roach back against the cage.

Roach escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Roach lands a big head kick that sends Hazlehurst tumbling to the mat! Roach takes a step backwards and waves Hazlehurst back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Roach sends Hazlehurst crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Roach is motioning to the referee to let Hazlehurst up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Hazlehurst is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Roach fakes the body blow, causing Hazlehurst to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Hazlehurst goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
