Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gert Lush (ranked 3399 p4p, 5059 weight class) and Declan Hayes (ranked 440 p4p, 576 weight class). Lush 's entrance music is Teardrop, Massive Attack. A fine choice. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hayes has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Lush .
Hayes throws the left hand but Lush avoids the punch easily.

Hayes looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

and Lush counters with a head kick that drops Hayes to the mat! Hayes scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lush circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Hayes drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Lush follows Hayes to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
