Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bear Viles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kendall Maivia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Viles might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Beast "Tech N9ne". Kendall Maivia has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Viles swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Viles throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Maivia misses the shot to the body.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Maivia.
Viles avoids a punch combination nicely.

Viles gets caught flat footed, as Maivia shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Maivia tries to stand but Viles is controlling from the bottom.
Maivia is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Maivia working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Viles doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Viles manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Maivia isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Viles stacks Maivia on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Viles!

That was a close second round but I would say that Bear Viles will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
