Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Austin (ranked 730 p4p, 2968 weight class) and Jon Horn (ranked 103 p4p, 388 weight class). Austin comes into the arena with Roy Jones. Jr - Can't be Touched blaring out of the sound system. Jon Horn has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horn lands a slapping body shot.
Horn connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Horn fails in his attempt to clinch.
Horn connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Austin's hands.

and Austin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Jon Horn has been cut.

Horn has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
A solid leg kick lands there for Horn.
Austin keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Our sources have told us that Austin has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.

Horn is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Austin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Horn tests Austin's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Horn dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Austin. That did some damage!

A left lands for Horn.
Horn connects with a single shot there.

Austin throws a body punch but Horn moves out of range.
Austin scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Horn doesn't seem bothered though.
Austin looks to score with a jab to the body but Horn is just out of range.

Horn misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Austin looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Horn! But no joy.
Austin ducks under a wild hook from Horn.

Horn lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Horn connects with a good right hand that stumbles Austin. Austin circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

The fighters circle momentarily. Horn darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Austin pushes Horn up against the cage in a clinch.
Austin makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Horn lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Austin looks to throw the jab but Horn is out of range.

Horn lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Horn moves to clinch but Austin breaks away
and Austin counters with a nice uppercut.
Jon Horn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Austin has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Horn.
A jab lands there for Austin.

Horn is rocked!
Horn throws a leg kick
and Austin counters with a huge left! Horn is in big trouble! He's backing up but Austin isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Horn from any more damage. A dominating finish by Austin!

Kyle Austin spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
