PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chakree Somchai (ranked 1578 p4p, 2043 weight class) and Danny Chapman (ranked 189 p4p, 239 weight class). Danny Chapman told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Chakree Somchai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Danny Chapman!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Somchai lands a two punch combo.
Somchai definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Somchai on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Chapman. Chapman obviously looking to wear him down.
Chapman lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

and Chapman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Somchai fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Chapman has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

I would just about give that final round to Danny Chapman.
