Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Drayton Page!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Will Nelson!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Page listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
It looks like Will Nelson has been cut.
Nelson is looking to clinch but Page is avoiding it.
Nelson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Page wants to get back to his feet but Nelson passes into half guard.
Nelson tries to pass the half guard into mount. Page knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Nelson wants to control but Page is keeping him busy.
Page is kicking away at Nelson from the bottom - trying to push off and stand up. Nelson grabs hold of a leg and drops back for a heel hook! The two fighters roll across the mat, with Page trying to push Nelson off... Page taps! He's tapped! This one is all over! A throwback to the old Pancrase there with an infrequently seen submission hold! Nice work.
