Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Asaki Hanaki (ranked 4414 p4p, 24721 weight class) and Jim Lahey (ranked 479 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hanaki might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The HU - Wolf Totem. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Hanaki throws a right hand that Lahey ducks under and follows up with a left that Lahey also avoids with ease.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Hanaki feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

No joy there for Hanaki, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Hanaki lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Hanaki ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hanaki no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Hanaki slips a nice elbow through Lahey's hands, connecting with Lahey's forehead.
