Julio Trujillo struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Grant has been working on his boxing with his coaches at LA Vale Tudo in the buildup to the fight.
Trujillo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Trujillo wants it to stay on the feet.
Grant goes for a double leg but Trujillo avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the ropes as Trujillo continues to drive forward.

Grant closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Julio Trujillo spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
