The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Four misses with a hook to the body
and Ramirez counters with a straight right hand.

It looks like Panda Four has been cut.
Four shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ramirez pinned against the cage. Ramirez gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
It seemed like Ramirez was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Four tries to close the distance and clinch but Ramirez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Four is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Four throws a leg kick which misses Ramirez's front leg but catches the back leg as Ramirez tries to avoid it.
Ramirez moves out of range of the leg kick from Four.
A little jabbing left from Ramirez on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Four fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ramirez.
Four doesn't manage to clinch there - Ramirez circles away.
Ramirez let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

Four scores with a sloppy right hand. Ramirez should have avoided that one.
Four fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Ramirez checks it well.
Ramirez avoids the body shot from Four.
Four darts in looking for a takedown but Ramirez gets double underhooks and turns Four into the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Panda Four. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ramirez swings wildly with an uppercut but Four uses good head movement to avoid it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Four shoots for a takedown but Ramirez saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Four is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ramirez is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Four is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Ramirez is trying to escape and Four transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Ramirez is forced to tap! Nice work there by Four! Very nice indeed!
