Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tom Fast (ranked 6558 p4p, 4674 weight class) and Nobuhito Inoue (ranked 555 p4p, 459 weight class). Tom Fast had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 157.8lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Tom Fast looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fast tries to clinch but Inoue is having none of it.
Inoue shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Fast ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Inoue moves away.

Inoue tries to score a body lock takedown but Fast shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Inoue looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Inoue looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fast is fending him off so far but Inoue persists. Nope, Fast circles away and we're back to standing.
A quick step to the side and Fast tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

A little jabbing left from Inoue on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
We've been told by Fast's head coaches at Deep waters that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Inoue shoots in looking for a takedown. Fast tries to sprawl out of it but Inoue keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Fast manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Inoue tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Fast defends well and Inoue ends up having to push Fast into the ropes where they will battle it out in the clinch.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tom Fast.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Fast, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
