Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jonny Seens (ranked 5113 p4p, 6111 weight class) and Harold Tree (ranked 566 p4p, 613 weight class). Seens comes to the cage accompanied by SexyBack. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jonny Seens!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Harold Tree!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tree tries to sprawl but Seens drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Seens throwing shots but Tree is blocking nicely.
Tree really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Seens. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Seens trying to control the pace.
Tree felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Tree wants to get back to full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Seens seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Tree for as long as he can get away with.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Seens throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Tree was covering up waiting for the punch and Seens finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Seens's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Tree trying to keep a closed guard but Seens is proving a slippery customer.

Tree is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Seens slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Tree shoots in for a double leg but Seens sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Seens fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Tree sprawls well initially but Seens persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Seens slows the pace down in half guard.
Seens's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tree won't allow Seens to pass to mount.
Seens is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

That's time! Seens's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Seens.
Tree wants to counter the offense by Seens and move into the clinch position.
Seens shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Tree napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Seens is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Seens has hold of Tree's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Tree tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Seens cranks the arm and Tree screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Tree, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
