Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Alex Daze!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Taro Takaoka and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daze will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Butch Gorn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Daze closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Daze lands in his opponent's guard.
Gorn is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Gorn throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Gorn wants to sweep here but Daze controlling him for the moment.
Gorn throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Gorn doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Daze wants to control from the top but Gorn keeps moving.
Gorn utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Gorn throws a hook to the side of Daze's head but Daze sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Gorn will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Gorn connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Alex Daze has been cut.

Gorn lands an uppercut, right on the button! Daze tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
