Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ilya Alexyev (ranked 4972 p4p, 4372 weight class) and Trevor Love (ranked 162 p4p, 150 weight class). Love has chosen Heart Crusher as his entrance music. Trevor Love looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Dmitry Maklakov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexyev finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Alexyev tries to close the distance and clinch but Love swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Alexyev throws a head kick but Love moves out of range.
Alexyev falls off balance throwing a combination
and Love counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Alexyev rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Love counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Love fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Alexyev to the ground. Love is now in Alexyev's guard.
Love wants to control from the top but Alexyev keeps moving.

Alexyev has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Love is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Love is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Alexyev wants to break free but Love has control.
Love avoiding damage.

Alexyev tries to break the clinch but Love is controlling the position.
Alexyev has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Love misses with a body shot.
Love looks winded!

Love rushes Alexyev and presses him up against the cage.

Alexyev looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Alexyev wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Love has him pressed against the cage.

Alexyev escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Alexyev is looking to clinch but Love is avoiding it.
Alexyev throws a right hand that Love ducks under and follows up with a left that Love also avoids with ease.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Alexyev lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Love has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Love and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Love drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Alexyev is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Love is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Alexyev is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Alexyev bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

Alexyev lands with a hook. Love tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Alexyev throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Love on the side of the head.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

It seemed like Love was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Love closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Alexyev quickly recovers to half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Love is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Alexyev defends it well.

Alexyev has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Love is on him like a limpet, forcing Alexyev back against the cage.

Love has Alexyev pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Alexyev manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Love tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Alexyev smiles and moves away.

Ilya Alexyev overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Love really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Alexyev. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ilya Alexyev.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Alexyev, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A less than humble Ilya Alexyev misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
