Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Takeshi Nagasaki (ranked 14373 p4p, 21091 weight class) and Masahide Tsunemura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Masahide Tsunemura has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Takeshi Nagasaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Masahide Tsunemura!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Alyssa Summers and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nagasaki fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
No luck for Nagasaki with that takedown attempt.
Tsunemura throws a body shot but no joy.
Nagasaki dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Tsunemura. That did some damage!

Nagasaki moves into range and clinches up with Tsunemura.
Tsunemura tries to break the clinch but Nagasaki is controlling the position.

Nagasaki pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Tsunemura is looking to clinch.
Nagasaki swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Tsunemura shoots for a takedown but Nagasaki saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nagasaki has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Tsunemura uses from the top position.

Nagasaki wants to get back to his feet but Tsunemura is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Nagasaki has a closed guard, preventing Tsunemura from standing up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nagasaki is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Tsunemura is fighting to break Nagasaki's control of his arms but Nagasaki is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Tsunemura is pushing down on Nagasaki's leg trying to pass to half guard. Nagasaki is fighting to maintain full guard but Tsunemura has managed to sneak the leg through.

Tsunemura looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Nagasaki tries to lock up and control but Tsunemura gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Tsunemura wants to control the pace but Nagasaki is squirming around nicely.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Nagasaki jumps guard and drags Tsunemura to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Tsunemura stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nagasaki swivels though and keeps the full guard.
