Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Murilo Ninja (ranked 2003 p4p, 2702 weight class) and Jean Cristopher La Vellei (ranked 258 p4p, 335 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

La Vellei is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ninja's half guard.

Ninja has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Ninja looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks La Vellei with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
