Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Abbath Occulta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cheetoh Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Occulta comes to the cage accompanied by Immortal - The Rise of Darkness. Ortiz is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Some cheesey song you dont wanna hear. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Abbath Occulta!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cheetoh Ortiz!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortiz uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Occulta.
Ortiz throws a quick inside leg kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ortiz looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Occulta feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Occulta is looking to work some ground and pound but Ortiz has wrist control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Occulta looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ortiz with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Ortiz is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Occulta connects with a nice short shot to Ortiz's temple.
Ortiz keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Abbath Occulta dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Occulta misses with a straight left.
Ortiz doesn't manage to clinch there - Occulta circles away.
Occulta bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
No joy there for Occulta, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ortiz walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Occulta checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Occulta closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ortiz to the mat! Ortiz manages to get full guard.

Occulta postures up in Ortiz's guard and throws a big left but Ortiz blocks it.

Occulta has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Occulta is in close to Ortiz's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Occulta throws a strike but Ortiz rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Occulta trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

Occulta manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Occulta is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Ortiz can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Ortiz is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Ortiz is breathing heavily.
Occulta postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Ortiz looks a forlorn figure.
Ortiz is rocked!
Occulta looking to finish Ortiz with some ground and pound. This is bad for Ortiz!
Ortiz is still in real trouble! Can Occulta finish him?

Abbath Occulta overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Occulta cracks Ortiz with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Occulta lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Occulta lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Ortiz! Occulta sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Ortiz and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
