Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dias lands with a thumping leg kick.
Dias pushes Holmes away with a front kick.
Holmes takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Holmes looks to throw a body kick
and Dias counters with a thumping low kick.
Holmes misses with a takedown
and Dias counters with a takedown into side control.
Dias throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Holmes holds on to Dias's head and controls the position momentarily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The ground and pound from Dias seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Holmes takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dias prevents Holmes from escaping the position.
Dias cracks Holmes with an elbow. That is naaassty.
It looks like Jeff Holmes has been cut.
Dias working the head and body with strikes.
Dias sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Holmes is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dias lands a decent elbow from side control.
That has opened up Jeff Holmes's cut even more.
Holmes looks gassed!
Dias lands some shots froms side control.
The cut above Jeff Holmes's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jeff Holmes's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
