The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lacerda throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Lacerda tries to close the distance and clinch but Zanetti swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Zanetti's corner calls for a 1-2. Zanetti obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Lacerda bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Zanetti had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Lacerda is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Zanetti Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Lacerda's back instead.
