Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rolf Ruger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Esa Pablo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ruger comes to the ring accompanied by Refused - New Noise. Esa Pablo is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruger throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pablo.

Ruger closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
A lull in the action here.
Ruger misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Ruger shoots for a double leg takedown but Pablo sprawls well. He's pushed Ruger's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Ruger is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Pablo still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Pablo has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
