The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Cortez.
Cortez dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ludwig. That did some damage!

Ludwig catches Cortez napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Cortez to the canvas!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ludwig cracks Cortez with a solid left hand.
Ludwig loads up on a big left hand. Cortez felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Ludwig looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Cortez can't hide his disappointment, as Ludwig celebrates the victory.

After the fight, Sven Ludwig was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
Juanito Cortez spoke after the fight, saying 'Well...shit happens....i will b back!'.
