Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mahut Uno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shaka Zulu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mahut Uno!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Shaka Zulu!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Damien Edna and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uno clinches with his opponent.
Uno pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Zulu should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Uno throws a front kick aimed at Zulu's knee but Zulu avoids it well.
Zulu waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Uno.
Zulu scores with a crisp jab that stopped Uno in his tracks.
Uno closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Uno will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Uno stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Zulu lands the left hand.
A low kick from Zulu misses
and Uno counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Uno.
Zulu breaks from the clinch.
Uno keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Uno forces Zulu back against the cage and clinches.
Uno drops down looking for an ankle pick but Zulu pulls his leg out and moves away.
Shaka Zulu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zulu swats away the attempt to clinch by Uno.
Uno closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Uno takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Zulu wants to get back to his feet.
Uno gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Zulu throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Uno counters with a right hand to the body.
Uno takes the fight into the clinch.
Uno is working Zulu over against the cage.
Uno breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Uno closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Uno lands in his opponent's guard.
Zulu looks gassed!
Uno slips nicely into half guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Zulu tries to kick Uno off in order to stand up. Uno Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Zulu is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Uno has taken his back!

Uno is punishing Zulu with strikes - can he finish him?!
A bit of a pause in the action here. Uno controlling the positon.
Uno's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Mahut Uno just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Uno drives through with a takedown into guard.
Uno stands up from Zulu's guard - Uno perhaps looking for a knockout.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Uno misses with a wild combination.
Uno closes this distance looking for a takedown but Zulu circles away.
Zulu takes a swing at Uno's ribcage but misses.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Uno stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Zulu wants to clinch.
Uno shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Zulu looks like he's trying to stand up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Uno is looking for a kimura but Zulu is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Uno to get the leverage.
Uno moves into full mount! Zulu won't be happy about that!

Uno has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Mahut Uno overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Uno in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
It looks like Shaka Zulu has been cut.
Zulu is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Uno has hold of Zulu's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Zulu manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Zulu is trying to stand up.

That's time! Uno's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Uno ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Uno moves into the clinch successfully.

Uno has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Zulu avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Zulu tries to break the clinch but Uno is controlling the position.

Uno tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Zulu is looking to break free of the clinch but Uno has double underhooks.
Zulu takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Uno jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Zulu walks away with a smile on his face. Uno gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mahut Uno. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Uno throws a one two combo.
Zulu is rocked!
Uno throws an overhand right that has Zulu reeling! Uno follows up with more punches and Zulu is out cold! This one is all over!
