The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schalk tries to close the distance and clinch but Kalub swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kalub throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Schalk.

Kalub lands with a kick to the ribs.

Kalub forces Schalk back against the cage and clinches.
Kalub tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Schalk wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kalub has him pressed against the cage.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kalub connects with a nice short shot to Schalk's temple.
