Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chandler Nelson (ranked 3120 p4p, 4139 weight class) and Tom Trayans (ranked 347 p4p, 433 weight class). Trayans has chosen Non-Natty Anthem as his entrance music. Tom Trayans has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chandler Nelson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tom Trayans!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Paulsen Ambrosius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson dives in and grabs Trayans's left leg, looking for a takedown. Trayans pushes down on Nelson's head and hops out.
Trayans throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Nelson counters with a series of strikes. Trayans will be more careful next time no doubt.
Trayans misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Nelson.
Nelson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Trayans sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nelson somewhat.
Trayans is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Trayans takes a kick to the side of the head.
Nelson avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jab, jab by Trayans - just one landing.
Trayans scores with a shot to the body.
Trayans tried to score with a low kick but Nelson checks it.

Trayans drops Nelson with a left and a right! Oh, Nelson is hurt - Trayans dives into side control looking to finish!

Nelson is rocked!

It looks like Chandler Nelson has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nelson wants to control but Trayans postures up.
Oh Nelson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nelson is trying to improve his position.

Trayans decides to stand up, so the ref orders Nelson to his feet.
Nelson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Trayans plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Nelson to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Nelson just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Tom Trayans!
A relieved looking Tom Trayans thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
