Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nikolai Drago!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sarge Dela!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Ivan Kurochkin and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drago fails with an attempt to clinch.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Drago postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Dela is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Drago, into his guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Nikolai Drago will probably get the nod.

Drago has his foot on Dela's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dela works his way back into a safe position though.

Drago needs to keep his hands up - Dela had a free shot at his head there.
Horrible takedown by Drago or perhaps it was just good defense by Dela which made him look bad.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
