The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knox swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Valuev moves in looking to clinch but Knox pushes him off.

Knox clinches up with Valuev and pushes him back against the cage.

Valuev pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Knox fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Valuev, pushing him back against the cage.
Knox can't break the clinch.
Knox wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Valuev has him pressed against the cage.
Valuev displaying some good clinch control by pressing Knox up against the cage.

Valuev escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Knox ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Valuev moves away.

Valuev tries to keep at a distance but Knox has taken the fight into the clinch.
Knox wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Valuev has him pressed against the cage.
Valuev scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Knox wants to break free but Valuev has control.
Valuev wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Valuev turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Valuev wants to lay and pray for a moment but Knox keeps working.

Valuev stands up and beckons Knox to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Knox moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

It looks like Johnny Knox has been cut.
Valuev fails with a takedown attempt.

Knox has closed the distance and engaged Valuev in a clinch.
Knox lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Valuev or not.

Valuev breaks from the clinch.
Knox tries to clinch up
and Valuev counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Knox falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!
