Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Peter Difin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Cam Velower!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Velower rushes Difin and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Difin looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Difin lands a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Velower wants to stand and escape but Difin is having none of it.
We've been hearing good reports from Difin's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Velower lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Difin on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Difin tries to get out of the position.
