Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Oleg Zadernovskiy (ranked 3888 p4p, 4384 weight class) and Kaede Mori (ranked 418 p4p, 453 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Oleg Zadernovskiy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kaede Mori!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zadernovskiy darts in and clinches Mori up against the cage.
Mori is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Zadernovskiy jumps guard but Mori stands there with Zadernovskiy around his waist. Zadernovskiy gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Mori gets underhooks to prevent Zadernovskiy's takedown attempt.
Mori swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Mori lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Mori digs a right hand into Zadernovskiy's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Zadernovskiy's gas tank.
A short left from Mori.
Zadernovskiy jumps guard but Mori stands there with Zadernovskiy around his waist. Zadernovskiy gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Oleg Zadernovskiy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mori stalling against the cage.
Zadernovskiy pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kaede Mori seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zadernovskiy misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mori tries to clinch but Zadernovskiy is having none of it.
Mori misses with an uppercut
so Zadernovskiy counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Zadernovskiy seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mori keeping moving, preventing Zadernovskiy from controlling successfully.
Zadernovskiy is stalling in the full guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Zadernovskiy advances to half guard.
Zadernovskiy stands up from half guard.
Zadernovskiy drops his hands momentarily and Mori takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Mori lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Kaede Mori is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mori lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Zadernovskiy is rocked!
Mori fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Zadernovskiy square on the jaw! Damn, Zadernovskiy is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kaede Mori!
