Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Disco Kid (ranked 129 p4p, 233 weight class) and Lincoln Storm (ranked 14 p4p, 27 weight class). Kid's entrance music is Wu Tang Clan - Protect Ya Neck. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Andrew Berry and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Storm misses with a body shot.
Kid stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Storm.
Lincoln Storm seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Storm shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Storm misses with a looping right.
Kid ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Storm moves away.

Kid gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Kid fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Storm, pushing him back against the cage.
Kid jumps guard but Storm stands there with Kid around his waist. Kid gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Storm manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kid manages to get himself to full guard.

Lincoln Storm showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Storm is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

I think Storm has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
