Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between rhees jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenzo Nakata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). jones comes to the cage accompanied by do it. Kenzo Nakata is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nakata rushes jones and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Nakata tries to stall but jones uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
jones throws a head punch that misses.
Nakata avoiding damage.
Nakata prevents a takedown attempt there.
Nakata gets underhooks to prevent jones's takedown attempt.

jones's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
jones throws out a loose jab but Nakata uses good head movement to avoid it.
jones throws a hook but Nakata blocks it.
Nakata tries to clinch up.
Nakata tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but jones paws at him with a jab and circles away.
jones avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
jones shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Nakata as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for rhees jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nakata swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nakata tries to close the distance and clinch up but jones swats him away and circles back towards the center.

jones looks to score with a jab to the body but Nakata is just out of range.
A nice combination there by jones.
Nakata tries to clinch there but jones circles away.
jones shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Nakata can't keep his opponent in guard - jones advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

jones with a flurry of punches that miss.
jones pushes down on Nakata's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Nakata is staying active underneath jones, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
jones tries to pass the half guard into mount. Nakata knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
jones is nestled in close to Nakata, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Nakata is trying to defend against the ground and pound but jones scores with a couple of nice shots.
jones thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Nakata to regain full guard.

jones is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Nakata has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. jones is looking to defend but Nakata has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for jones! Nakata pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, jones taps out and this one is all over!
