The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Zilinski.
Zilinski throws a hook but Petric avoids it easily.

Zilinski uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Petric.

Marques Petric seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Petric wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Petric tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Zilinski was well out of range. Poor timing from Petric.
Zilinski looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Zilinski connects with a good right hand that stumbles Petric. Petric circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Petric is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Zilinski.

Zilinski is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Petric had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
