Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mawi Da Oxlade!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hercules Fortier!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Atkins and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fortier tries for a takedown but Da Oxlade sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Fortier thuds his right hand into Da Oxlade's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Da Oxlade stuffs the takedown attempt from Fortier. Fortier gets slowly back to his feet.
Da Oxlade uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Fortier.
An attempted straight right counter from Da Oxlade misses the target.
Fortier goes for a double leg but Da Oxlade avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Da Oxlade continues to drive forward.
Mawi Da Oxlade has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hercules Fortier.
Fortier tries to clinch but Da Oxlade is having none of it.
Fortier tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fortier clinches with his opponent.
Fortier changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Da Oxlade fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Fortier doesn't succeed with the takedown
letting Da Oxlade counter with a right hand.
It looks like Hercules Fortier has been cut.

Fortier fails in his attempt to clinch.
A quick step to the side and Da Oxlade tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Da Oxlade misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Fortier.
Fortier shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Da Oxlade sprawls well. Da Oxlade wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fortier gets slowly back to his feet.
Fortier looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Da Oxlade is fending him off so far but Fortier persists. Nope, Da Oxlade circles away and we're back to standing.
Da Oxlade lands a head kick. Fortier smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Fortier misses with a takedown
and Da Oxlade counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Da Oxlade swats away the attempt to clinch by Fortier.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Da Oxlade thows a left - swing and a miss!
Fortier throws a counter combo.
Da Oxlade has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Da Oxlade buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Fortier dives in for a single leg takedown but Da Oxlade sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Hercules Fortier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fortier fails with a takedown attempt.
Da Oxlade throws a powerful right kick. Fortier tried to block low but the kick was high! Fortier was taken right off of his feet! Da Oxlade jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
