The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Larunda dives in and grabs Larundo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Larundo pushes down on Larunda's head and hops out.
Larundo throws a sloppy head kick and Larunda moves out of range easily.
Horrible takedown attempt by Larunda or perhaps it was just good defense by Larundo, which made it look bad.
Larundo tries to clinch there but Larunda circles away.

Larundo moves into the clinch.
Larunda blocks an elbow strike.
Larunda is trying to pull guard but Larundo turns him against the ropes and we stay in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Biggie Larunda. That's going to take a lot out of him.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Larunda feints and as Larundo raises his hands in defense, Larunda changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Larunda throws a big right hand that misses.
Larundo wants to improve his position but instead Larunda has moved into half guard.

Larunda stalling away here and it's allowed Larundo to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Larundo throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

I would just about give that final round to Biggie Larundo.
