Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Fisher (ranked 5006 p4p, 5007 weight class) and Pooky Steve (ranked 197 p4p, 199 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Skip Squint and Bruno Hogan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fisher changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Steve tries to avoid it but Fisher manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Steve to the ground. Steve escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Fisher shoots in looking for a takedown. Steve tries to sprawl out of it but Fisher keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Steve manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
As Fisher backs off Steve throws a huge counter combo but Fisher manages to avoid it all.
Fisher tries to score a power double leg takedown but Steve sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fisher somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brandon Fisher. That's going to take a lot out of him.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Steve looks to score with a jab to the body but Fisher is just out of range.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Fisher is trying to pull guard but Steve has him pressed against the cage.

Fisher wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Fisher tries to land knees in the clinch but Steve avoids the damage to the body.
Fisher can't get the takedown.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Steve is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fisher is aware though and is defending well.

Steve had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fisher defends it easily.
Steve manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Fisher manages to get himself to full guard.

Steve has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Fisher is proving hard to escape from.

Well Steve has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
