Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Xylon Kofel (ranked 3468 p4p, 3027 weight class) and Simon Poulter (ranked 373 p4p, 330 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Xylon Kofel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Simon Poulter!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poulter fails with an attempt to clinch.
It looked like Kofel was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Poulter tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kofel was well out of range. Poor timing from Poulter.
Poulter scores with a punch to the head.
Poulter lands with a right hand.
Poulter shoots in for a takedown but Kofel shows good takedown defense.
Poulter has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Poulter tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Simon Poulter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Poulter throws a sloppy head kick
and Kofel cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Poulter is rocked!
Poulter throws a series of punches but Kofel moves out of range.
Poulter is still on wobbly legs! Can Kofel finish him?
Kofel has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Poulter finds it's way round the side to connect with Kofel's head.
Poulter misses with a looping left.
It looked like Kofel wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Poulter seems to have recovered his senses.
Kofel circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kofel's jab looks to have found its range, popping Poulter under the eye.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kofel slips a jab and a cross from Poulter.
Kofel tried to counter with a leg kick but Poulter avoided it.
Poulter closes the distance but Kofel moves to the side
and Kofel counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Kofel steps in with a hook that catches Poulter right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Kofel follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Poulter looks absolutely devastated.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Xylon Kofel!
