The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Colin Fotheringham and Donald Grub.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Yilmaz but Yilmaz pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A head kick misses from Yilmaz.
Smith shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Yilmaz as he avoids it easily.
Yilmaz throws a nice inside leg kick.
Yilmaz rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Smith moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Yilmaz moves in looking to clinch but Smith pushes him off.
Yilmaz wants to clinch up but Smith keeps it at a distance.
Yilmaz scores with a sloppy right hand. Smith should have avoided that one.
Yilmaz misses with a jab, cross combination.
Smith circles away from the clinch attempt.
Smith avoids a punch combination nicely.

Smith drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Smith stops Yilmaz from standing up.
Smith advances position into side control!

Smith thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Yilmaz is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Smith has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Smith looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Smith is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Yilmaz looks calm but he's in trouble here. Smith gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Yilmaz is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Smith lets go of the hold and Yilmaz can pop his arm back in it's socket.
