Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nyah Hirst (ranked 837 p4p, 1333 weight class) and Wanderson Machado (ranked 111 p4p, 178 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Steve Erwin and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

As Machado tries to get set, Hirst tries to push him back and clinch up but Machado manages to avoid the attempt.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Machado crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Hirst - the referee stops the clock and Machado gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Hirst. Machado manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Machado chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hirst can pounce on him.
