The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dip scores with a head kick.

It looks like Alfie Yoder has been cut.

and Yoder counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Yoder.
Dip prevents a takedown attempt there.
Yoder is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Dip breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Yoder drives through with a takedown into guard.

Yoder decides to stand and escape the position.
Dip throws a head kick that half lands.
Yoder feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Dips jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

It looks like Charles Dip has been cut.
Dip throws a head kick but Yoder moves out of range.
Yoder is looking for the big counter here.
Yoder lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dip circles away quickly and effectively.
Yoder throws a right hand that Dip ducks under and follows up with a left that Dip also avoids with ease.

Yoder looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Dip!

Yoder decides to stand back up.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yoder frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Dip knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Yoder on the ground.
Yoder tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Yoder takes Dip's back.

Yoder has managed to slip his arm under Dip's chin. This could be all over... yep, Dip is tapping out! Submission win for Yoder.
