Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Barry Ridgewood (ranked 3881 p4p, 3980 weight class) and Jarlaxle Baenre (ranked 406 p4p, 410 weight class). Jarlaxle Baenre is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ridgewood blocks a head kick by Baenre.

Baenre has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Ridgewood uses from the top position.

Our spies down at at Ludus Magnus inform us that Baenre has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Baenre has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ridgewood can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Baenre has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Ridgewood doesn't defend quickly enough and Baenre has managed to lock this one up! Can Ridgewood escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Baenre on a fantastic submission victory.
