Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ivy takes one to the side of the head.
Adams throws a body punch but Ivy moves out of range.

Adams throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ivy tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Adams is in Ivy's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ivy can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Adams controls the pace.
Adams trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
We've been hearing good reports from Adams's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Adams working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Ivy's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ivy wants to stand and escape but Adams is having none of it.
Ivy is trying to keep Adams in close.

Ivy is rocked!

That has opened up Poison Ivy's cut even more.
Adams gets to his feet and stands over Ivy, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Ivy felt that one! Adams unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Ivy from any more punishment!
