Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Budden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drako Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drako Drake will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drake shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Budden as he jumps to the side.
Drake keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Budden.
Budden misses with a head kick.
Drake shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Budden but Budden pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Budden throws a head kick but Drake moves out of range.
Budden could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Budden clinches up against the cage.
Drake drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Budden gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Joe Budden has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Drako Drake.
Drake tries to score a body lock takedown but Budden shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Budden tries to break the clinch but Drake is controlling the position.

Budden pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Drake has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Budden is trying to keep an underhook but Drake manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Drake wants to work for an arm triangle but Budden is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Budden might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Drake is looking for a kimura but Budden is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Drake to get the leverage.

Drake wants to free his trapped foot but Budden is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Budden tries to kick Drake off but Drake keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Drake is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Budden sees it coming and defends easily.

Drake is working for an americana but Budden has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Drake was thinking about the submission.
Budden is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Drake wants to stand but Budden is controlling his posture from full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Drake pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Budden is keeping the position for now.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Drake avoids the head kick by Budden.
Budden throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Budden throws a head kick but Drake moves out of range.
Budden tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Drake drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Drake drops back looking for a leg! Budden is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Budden manages to kick Drake off! Drake jumps back into Budden's guard.

Drake tries to stand but Budden is controlling from the bottom.
Drake wants to pass the guard but Budden is keeping the position.

Drake drops back, looking for a kneebar! Budden looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Budden looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Budden!
Drake is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Budden has just dragged him back down to the mat.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Drake tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Budden wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Budden prevents Drake from escaping the position.
Drake is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Drake is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Budden is controlling him well.

Drake shoots for a takedown but Budden saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Budden fails to land with a series of punches.

Drake shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Drake is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Budden has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Drake is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Drake!
