The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fashur scores with a one two! Silva had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Silva swats away the attempt to clinch by Fashur.

Silva has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Fashur avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Fashur ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Fashur no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Fashur changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Silva looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Silva is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Silva gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Silva gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Silva apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Fashur shoots in and drives through. Silva sprawls well.

Silva closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Silva wants to free his trapped foot but Fashur is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Fashur has his hands clasped together around Silva's back. He's all about the action.
Silva is keen to just control but Fashur is a slippery customer.
Silva drops an elbow to the side of Fashur's head.

Silva seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

I would just about give that final round to Thales Silva.
