Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andrei Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Jakobz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Emelianenko comes into the arena with You are the best around blaring out of the sound system. Jakobz comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Michael Jackson - Thriller kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Jay Jakobz!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Colin Fotheringham and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jakobz throws a jab when Emelianenko was well out of range.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Jakobz crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Emelianenko - the referee stops the clock and Jakobz gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Emelianenko. Jakobz manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
