Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Maximo Costa (ranked 2475 p4p, 2909 weight class) and Hill Billy Hank (ranked 328 p4p, 383 weight class). Maximo Costa could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Hill Billy Hank's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Maximo Costa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hill Billy Hank!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Costa misses with a body kick.
Maximo Costa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hank ducks under a wild hook from Costa.
Hank's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Costa connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hank scrambles back to his feet.

We've been told by Costa's head coaches at Doom's Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Costa clobbers Hank with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

That was a close second round but I would say that Maximo Costa will probably get the nod.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Maximo Costa.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Costa, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
