Hofland comes into the arena with Never Let it Die - Hatebreed blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Nice sprawl there from Rootin as Hofland shoots in.
Rootin stuffs the takedown.
Rootin with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Hofland throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rootin misses with a kick to the body.
Hofland looks for a takedown but Rootin sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josh Hofland. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hofland keeps the fight on the outside.
Rootin tries to clinch up but Hofland circles away and keeps his distance.
Boss Rootin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rootin lands with a nice body punch.
Hofland is breathing heavily.
Rootin looks to land a body kick but Hofland moved away.
Rootin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rootin tries to close the distance and clinch but Hofland swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Rootin fails in his attempt to clinch.
Hofland fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Rootin cracks Hofland with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
It looks like Josh Hofland has been cut.

Hofland keeps the fight on the outside.
Rootin lands with a big right hook that stumbles Hofland - he's out on his feet here! Rootin follows up with another monster hook that separates Hofland from consciousness! Hofland falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Rootin stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
